Drug Arrest

OBERLIN: On or about early August 2017, narcotics officers with the Allen Parish Sheriff's Department investigated information of alleged drug dealing by the occupants of 216 Mayor Carrier Street in Oberlin LA. Officers working the case determined and identified a Robert Earl Joubert of Elton, LA was making crystal methamphetamine sales from the residence. On August 10, 2017, narcotics officers conducted a search of the residence seizing evidence of crystal meth sales, drug paraphernalia and a substantial amount of crystal meth that was packaged for street-sale distribution.


Robert Earl Joubert 35, of Elton, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute crystal meth, one count of distribution of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of illegal narcotics within 1000.00 feet of the Oberlin Baptist Church.

Also arrested:
Brandon Anthony Lee 24, of Phoenix City, AL. for possession of meth, drug paraphernalia.

Brandon Russ 21, of Oberlin La. for possession of crystal meth, drug paraphernalia and obstruction of justice. All three were booked in the Allen Parish jail on felony drug charges.
