WATER RESCUE & CURFEW

Friends,

Our parish has seen another devastating natural disaster, Hurricane Delta. As we are still mitigating all aspects of this disaster, we are utilizing all resources at our disposal. The State Fire Marshal's Office has graciously given to us several Urban Search and Rescue Teams. These teams are also vital in the assessment of damage to our parish. If you see these units deploying on the rivers, they are assessing the damage, also they are planning for any recues which may occur. No active rescues are occurring at this time.

As power is restored to locations in the parish, I am lifting the curfew restriction in the municipalities with power. Curfew is still in effect for all portions of the parish outside of the city limits and the Village of Elizabeth.
