As we go through this storm together, let me assure you that we are monitoring things as they develop. I would also like to let you know that there is NO CURFEW for the parish as of yet, with the exception of the City of Oakdale. The curfew in Oakdale was enacted by the city government there. As we monitor the growing storm situation, if it becomes necessary and the conditions worsen, then we will meet with the Police Jury and the town government heads and determine if a curfew is necessary. We would ask that you as a member of the Allen Parish Community to please consider staying indoors and staying off the streets and roadways as this storm moves in. This is a safety precaution for you and others, who may have to travel out due to necessity. Please Prepare for this storm as it moves in, keeping your family and you safe from harm. Our deputies are still patrolling and will continue to do so.
