Friends,

     We are currently involved in a situation on the south side of the casino, where a young white male is shooting a weapon. Please help us keep you safe, go into your homes, lock the doors and remain inside. Officers with Coushatta and the Allen Parish Sheriff's office are actively searching for the subject, who is described as a young white male subject wearing a blue/greenish shirt last seen running into the woods near the casino. If you live south of the casino, in the Green Oaks area, please keep your doors locked until we have apprehended the subject. If you have seen the subject, Please call 911 and give a location. DO NOT approach the subject as he is considered armed and dangerous. Thank You for your assistance in this matter, BE SAFE and GOD BLESS!!!

UPDATE

    The shooter has been apprehended near the casino, at the cabins. The shooter is a white male juvenile subject that was shooting an air rifle at people and we believe that the situation is now clear. Please return to your normal activities and Thank You for your help, Be Safe and GOD Bless!!
