  We have received some calls from people stating that a person identifying himself as Sgt. Johnson, who is calling on behalf of the Allen Parish Sheriff's office, he is claiming he has a warrant for people who missed showing up for a federal grand jury subpoena. Please know that this is a scam.

• The Sheriff's Office does not call persons about warrants
• The Sheriff's Office does not handle federal warrants like this
• The Sheriff's Office does not have a Sgt. Johnson in warrants

Please be aware of who you are speaking with as the number will show up on your caller id as the Allen Parish Sheriff's Office. We are not trying to collect fines or fees over the phone for this matter and we never will. If  you are contacted by this person, please hang up and call the Sherriff's Office in Allen Parish or the parish where you reside to report this matter.
