On August 18th, APSO Investigators discovered information leading to the arrest of Justin Townley, of Texas (originally of Oakdale). APSO discovered that Townley was staying in an apartment at 105 Hospital Dr., in Oakdale city limits. During a subsequent search, Townley was found to be in possession of stolen items from all three burglarized churches: First Baptist, Mount Olive and Cross Memorial Methodist. He was also in possession of a vehicle stolen out of Texas. Townley was charged with 3 counts of Burglary and Theft, 2 counts of Theft over $5,000, one count of Theft under $5,000, possession of a stolen vehicle.
